Jo Lynn's Story
Life
Update 08/09/04: My baby girl arrived 05/11/04...Sterling Maria Sapp. She is, of course, the most beautiful baby ever (and so happy!). She'll be three months old in a few days and she has changed my life. I'm quitting my great job with the VA nursing home and going to work part-time. $ will be very tight, but being with Sterling is so worth it.
Here's a little history:
I'd like to say that I've got an awesome career and lots of money, but just not so! After high school, I went to LSUS and bombed. Went to BPCC, did okay. Went to NSU for nursing and hated it. Soooo, moved to Panama City, Florida and went to FSU. Got Master's in social work. Good for the soul, but it's been a struggle. I'm now working at the new VA Nursing Home in Springfield as Social Services Director. The facility is brand-new so I'm busy working on lots of new admissions (120 beds). I couldn't pass up the job offer, so I nixed nursing school (again)....Expand for more
I got remarried in 03/03 to the man I should've been with from the start(Wayne). (Yes, this is MY THIRD. By the way...anyone need a few wedding dresses??!) Wayne's a Funeral Director and I'm fascinated with his line of work. We'd like to open a funeral home. I'm a step-mom to 2 boys (age 8,9). We still spend alot of time with my mom & dad and have a good time together(dad's now 79). We're selling the boat to get out from under some bills now that I'm working part time. Wayne & I still love to eat sushi,go for walks, and just veg with family/friends. We don't eat out much any more...trying to save money. Wayne's family lives about an hour away in Cottondale and...you'll love the name of this town...TWO EGG. That's right, it's a real town. (I'm waiting for it to be a Jeopardy question). I've gotta have a pic taken of the Two Egg sign and hold up a few slices of bacon next to it. I'd love to hear from ya'll...so send an email!
